Job Description
The Center for Food and Nutrition Policy within Medical Ethics and Health Policy (MEHP) is seeking a highly motivated Clinical Research Coordinator B to support the day-to-day study operations for an R01 evaluating the effects of three healthy food policies on purchases across online grocery store and restaurant settings, as well as dietary intake.
The Clinical Research Coordinator B will work closely with the study principal investigator, project manager, and other research staff to support study implementation. Key responsibilities will include assisting with participant recruitment and enrollment, supporting data collection and management, maintaining study documentation, and ensuring adherence to study protocols and regulatory requirements. The coordinator will also communicate with study participants, track study progress, and prepare study materials and reports.
The Clinical Research Coordinator B will supervise study research assistants and provide day-to-day oversight to ensure study activities are conducted accurately and in accordance with study protocols. The coordinator will also lead study-related meetings to support coordination of study activities and team communication. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with IRB submissions and updates, supporting data quality assurance processes, and contributing to study reporting and manuscript preparation as appropriate. The CRC will also have opportunities to participate in Center-wide discussions of food and nutrition policy issues, journal clubs, and professional development trainings.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science and 2 to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. A Master's degree is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate:, Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with individuals from diverse backgrounds and professional levels. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under Experience working collaboratively on a research team and interacting with study participants. Proficiency using computer programs for research operations (MS Office Suite, REDCap, Asana, email programs). Experience with data analysis programs is preferred.
