Job Summary
Primary Responsibilities:-Perform both qualitative and quantitative fit tests according to OSHA guidelines to evaluate the seal of tight-fitting respirators on users' faces.
-Instruct workers on how to correctly wear, use, maintain, and store their respirators.
-Keep accurate records of all fit test results and other required documentation for compliance purposes.
-Make sure workers are assigned the correct respirator make, model, style, and size, and help them select a different respirator if the previous one fails the test.
-Promote a culture of safety and health by ensuring workers understand the importance of proper respirator fit for their well-being.
-Help ensure the organization meets regulatory requirements for respirator use and safety standards, such as those from OSHA.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Required
H.S. Diploma or equivalent
Strong organizational skills and written and verbal communication skills
Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook) proficiency
Preferred
1-2 years fit testing experience preferred
1-2 years of OSHA compliance and/or respirator fit testing experience
Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- A solid understanding of OSHA respiratory protection standards, fit testing procedures, and different types of respirators preferred.
- The ability to manage schedules, equipment, and comprehensive documentation and record-keeping.
- Good communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with staff and provide clear instructions.
- Diligence in executing fit tests accurately, calibrating equipment, and documenting all results meticulously.
- May be required to be physically capable of performing the tasks associated with fit testing and assisting workers, which includes carrying equipment up to approximately 25 pounds.

Schedule and Work Model
Full-time, Monday through Friday
8 hours per day but must be available to work flexible hours as needed (as early as 6am or as late as 4:30pm).
Primarily local travel, but occasional travel as far north as Dover, NH and as far south as Cape Cod and the Islands. Reimbursed for travel (mileage, tolls, ferry, parking).
