The Role

The Paralegal is a critical member of the legal organization, assisting the General Counsel and members of the legal team. This individual will be engaged with commercial transactions, responses to RFPs, records maintenance, and general administrative needs within the legal department of a global company.

Your Impact

  • Assist with preparation and coordination of RFP responses, including document collection, translations, and submissions to local and governmental agencies.
  • Coordinate with the business on necessary legal documents such as certificates of exclusivity, legalizations, apostilles, and other necessary verifications for commercial matters.
  • Assist with litigation projects, including gathering and organizing materials.
  • Assist with the review and finalization of non-disclosure agreements with third parties.
  • Maintain legal department files and archives.
  • Interface with outside counsel and internal clients.
  • Maintain confidentiality of assignments and privileged information and contacts.

What You'll Need

  • Associate’s degree and/or paralegal certificate from an ABA approved program.
  • 5+ years corporate and/or litigation paralegal experience.
  • Proficiency with MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Project and process management skills.
  • Discretion, sound judgment, tact and diplomacy in all communications.
  • Strong bias for action, well-organized, self-assured, and willing to work irregular hours on an occasional basis.
  • Confidence to work well under pressure while maintaining a high level of quality.
  • Ability to comfortably and effectively communicate with Directors and Senior Management.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
