Job Description:
A highly senior, customer-facing architecture and delivery leadership role responsible for end-to-end ownership of complex, enterprise-scale solutions built across the full HPE technology stack. This role combines deep technical authority with delivery accountability—bridging Sales, Presales, and Professional Services to validate, shape, and execute integrated Hybrid Cloud, Private Cloud, AI, and HPC solutions. The role acts as the final technical authority during early-stage engagements to ensure solutions are realistic, deliverable, and aligned with customer outcomes, and subsequently leads execution across delivery teams to ensure successful implementation at scale.
How you will make your mark:
End-to-End Solution Authority (Sales → Delivery)
Serve as the technical validation authority during early sales cycles, working closely with Sales and Presales Architects to:
Validate solution feasibility, scalability, and delivery risk
Ensure alignment with HPE reference architectures and best practices
Confirm integration across the full HPE stack (compute, storage, networking, GreenLake, AI platforms)
Lead technical governance from opportunity qualification through delivery execution.
Own solution integrity across the lifecycle—design, validation, implementation, and optimization.
Architecture Leadership Across HPE Stack
Architect and oversee end-to-end hybrid and private cloud solutions, including:
HPE Private Cloud Enterprise / Business Edition and GreenLake platforms
AI/ML platforms (HPE Private Cloud AI, NVIDIA AI Enterprise, AI Factory architectures)
HPC environments and large-scale compute clusters
Container platforms (OpenShift, Rancher, Kubernetes ecosystems)
Ensure seamless integration across:
Compute, storage, networking (including high-speed interconnects)
Data platforms and AI pipelines
Hybrid/multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Drive adoption of cloud-native, automated, and scalable architectures.
Delivery Leadership & Execution Ownership
Lead delivery teams across complex engagements, ensuring:
Alignment to approved architecture and design principles
Adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
Effective risk identification and mitigation
Act as the lead design authority ensuring delivery success for:
AI infrastructure and HPC deployments
Containerized platforms and cloud-native environments
Enterprise hybrid cloud transformations
Provide hands-on guidance during critical phases (design reviews, PoCs, escalations).
Opportunity Shaping & Technical Validation
Lead technical due diligence during:
RFP/RFI responses
Solution workshops and discovery sessions
Proof-of-concept engagements to validate performance and integration
Translate business requirements into deliverable, production-ready architectures.
Ensure solutions are grounded in real-world delivery constraints, not theoretical designs.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Act as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers and internal stakeholders.
Bridge gaps between:
⁃ Sales / Presales / Delivery / Engineering
⁃ Business and technical teams
Provide executive-level communication on:
⁃ Solution strategy
⁃ Risks and trade-offs
⁃ Delivery readiness and outcomes
Facilitate clear, timely, and transparent communication among program stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
Develop and execute a comprehensive communication plan to keep stakeholders informed about program status, progress, risks and technical issues.
Provide clear direction for delivery consultants on the approach to technical challenges and blockers.
Provide regular updates to senior management and governance bodies, highlighting key achievements, milestones, and challenges.
Technology Strategy & Innovation
Drive adoption of:
AI/ML platforms and MLOps pipelines
Cloud-native architectures and DevOps/DevSecOps practices
Infrastructure as Code and automation frameworks
Continuously evaluate emerging technologies across:
AI, HPC, Kubernetes, hybrid cloud, and security domains
Contribute to reusable architectures, reference designs, and best practices.
About you:
12–15+ years in enterprise IT, with strong focus on:
Solution architecture and delivery leadership
Hybrid cloud, AI/HPC, and infrastructure platforms
Proven background in professional services / delivery-led roles, not purely presales
Demonstrated experience leading large-scale, multi-technology programs end-to-end
Strong consulting mindset with excellent stakeholder and executive communication skills
Hybrid Cloud & Private Cloud
Deep expertise in enterprise private cloud platforms and hybrid architectures
Strong understanding of workload migration, interoperability, and governance
AI / HPC Infrastructure
AI platform design (GPU-based infrastructure, NVIDIA ecosystem)
HPC cluster architecture, workload schedulers (Slurm, PBS Pro), and performance tuning
Containers & Cloud-Native
Kubernetes ecosystems (OpenShift, Rancher, CNCF stack)
Containerization technologies and orchestration at scale
Infrastructure & Systems
Compute, storage, and networking (including high-performance networking)
Virtualization and Linux-based environments
Automation & DevOps
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
CI/CD, DevOps and MLOps pipelines
Scripting (Python, Bash)
Security & Compliance
Enterprise security architectures, identity, encryption, and compliance frameworks
