Job Description
Centers Services Team (CST) Leads work to coordinate event support and general custodial work throughout the University Centers, assisting with setting up chairs, tables, microphones, and other equipment for events in the Dreyfus University. The Centers Conference and Events Coordinators and fulltime custodial staff may also assign special projects as needed.
In addition to basic CST tasks, CST Leads serve as on-call supervisors during weekend events. They are also responsible for:
Keeping thorough inventory records of equipment at the Dreyfus University Center including tables, chairs, staging, corded microphones, and various audio-visual equipment.
Attending monthly Lead Meetings for the Centers Services Team to discuss Centers Services duties and tasks in the Dreyfus University Center.
This position reports to the CST Student Manager and takes direction from the Associate Director of the University Centers.

The University Centers Student Employment Program Wage Classification Scale classifies this position as Division I, Range II.
Required Qualifications
Leads must have previous experience working as a CST Team Member.
Applicants must be available to work up to 20 hours per week during the semester and attend weekly staff meetings and events as necessary, including rotating weekend shifts. Shifts can be scheduled as early as 6:45am and as late as 2:00am for special events during the week and on weekends.
Applicants should also be comfortable lifting up to 35 lbs. while on shift. They must be capable of working under limited supervision during shifts, as well as supervising others.
Students applying for this position must pass a Criminal Background Check initiated by the University Centers.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to qualified candidates with at least two semesters remaining at UWSP.
Education
The CST Lead must be at least a part-time student (enrolled in a minimum of 6 undergraduate or 5 graduate credits) and be in good academic standing (cumulative and semester GPAs of 2.0 or higher) at the time of hiring and throughout employment.
