How you will make history here..

The Data Science Analyst plays a critical role supporting the Demand Planning function by developing and enhancing advanced forecasting models. The role selects the optimal model for a scenario, adjusts parameters to tune the forecast, and supplements the model with algorithm development if necessary. The analyst leverages machine learning and advanced analytics to improve forecast accuracy, optimize financial and supply chain performance, and deliver measurable business impact.

What will you do...

Model Development

  • Develop and refine AI and machine learning models for demand forecasting, using various techniques like time series analysis, regression, and ensemble learning

Data Analysis

  • Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to understand data patterns, identify anomalies, and find key drivers influencing demand

Insight Generation

  • Derive actionable insights from the data, enabling a better understanding of how promotions, pricing, and external variables affect demand

Platform Utilization

  • Employ the o9 platform and open-source integrated development environments (IDEs) for model construction and deployment, data management, and result visualization

Continuous Improvement

  • Proactively monitor and improve the accuracy of forecasting models, adapting to changing market conditions

Collaboration

  • Collaborate with demand planners, analysts, and business users to ensure the models and insights are relevant and effective

What you bring to the table (must have)

  • 4 + years of relevant experience in data science, forecasting, or advanced analytics (supply chain experience strongly preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required
  • Master's degree preferred

Skills & Abilities

  • Technical
  • Solid expertise in Python, R, SQL, and GitHub and other IDE's like Pycharm VS code
  • Statistical and Machine Learning: Strong knowledge of various algorithms and techniques, including time series analysis, regression, and ensemble learning
  • Data Analysis: Expertise in EDA, data cleaning, and feature engineering.
  • Forecasting experience is a plus
  • Experience with supply chain or demand planning datasets
  • Experience with o9 platform preferred
  • Analytical & Business Skills
  • Ability to translate complex analyses into business insights
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Risk identification and prioritization capabilities
  • Continuous improvement mindset

Working Conditions

  • Hybrid model at our Camden, NJ HQ! Work from home on Monday and Friday. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in the office.
  • Travel as needed (10-15%) to company meetings, company & customer meetings.

Compensation and Benefits: The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$109,400-$157,200

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
