Classroom Teacher Grade 5

Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic School in Vienna, VA is hiring a qualified Lead Teachers for our elementary school students in Grades K-5 for the 2026-2027 school year, beginning August 10, 2026. Qualified candidates are required to have a bachelor’s degree (teaching or related area preferred), and possess or be working towards VCEA or Commonwealth of Virginia teaching certification.

This position requires the candidate to teach all core subjects to their homeroom, including language arts, reading, social studies, and religion. Candidates must demonstrate excellent classroom management skills, develop engaging, differentiated lessons with written plans, and provide feedback through timely grading of submitted work and trimester report cards.

Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic School was established in 1957, and is a parish preschool, elementary, and middle school with over 500 students.
