Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized, relationship-driven, and strategic Sponsorships & Events Manager to lead Businessolver’s experiential marketing efforts and manage a team responsible for executing high-impact sponsorships and events. This role is central to elevating the Businessolver brand, strengthening client and partner relationships, and driving measurable pipeline impact. The ideal candidate is both a strong strategist and a hands-on leader who can guide a team while executing flawlessly.
The Gig:
Event Strategy & Execution
- Develop and lead the event strategy for conferences, client summits, field marketing activations, executive dinners, and hosted experiences.
- Oversee the team responsible for event logistics, including budgets, timelines, vendor management, venue coordination, and on-site execution.
- Ensure event strategies align with pipeline goals through proactive attendee targeting, customized engagement plans, and coordinated post-event follow-up.
- Collaborate with Sales, Revenue Marketing, and Brand teams to ensure event experiences strengthen relationships and support revenue outcomes.
Sponsorship Management
- Lead the planning and execution of Businessolver’s strategic sponsorships and experiential partnerships.
- Serve as the primary liaison with sponsorship partners, hospitality teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of all activations.
- Guide the team in activating sponsorship assets—including branding, hospitality, digital content, and on-site engagement—to ensure alignment with revenue and brand goals.
- Oversee tracking of sponsorship deliverables, deadlines, benefits, and performance metrics to maximize ROI.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of event and sponsorship professionals, fostering a high-performance, service-oriented culture.
- Provide coaching, structure, and support to help the team prioritize projects, manage workloads, and deliver best-in-class experiences.
- Encourage innovative thinking and continuous improvement across sponsorship and event execution.
- Establish best practices, standardized processes, and scalable workflows across all events and experiential programs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Revenue Marketing, Sales, Business Development, Product Marketing, and Digital Marketing to align event and sponsorship strategies with broader GTM priorities.
- Partner with Sales Enablement to ensure teams are equipped with the right tools, messaging, and engagement strategies for each event.
- Collaborate with Brand and Content teams to create cohesive event narratives, signage, presentations, and supporting materials.
Measurement & Optimization
- Oversee event and sponsorship performance tracking using KPIs such as pipeline influence, engagement, account participation, and ROI.
- Deliver comprehensive post-event and post-sponsorship reporting, including insights and optimization recommendations.
- Leverage data to refine event and sponsorship strategies, improve performance, and identify new experiential opportunities.
Vendor & Budget Management
- Oversee vendor relationships, including agencies, production companies, travel partners, A/V teams, venues, and hospitality providers.
- Manage budgets across all events and sponsorships, ensuring responsible investment and clear documentation of costs and returns.
- Implement scalable processes that support consistency, efficiency, and operational excellence across the team.
What you need to make the cut:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5–8 years of experience in event management, experiential marketing, sponsorship activation, or related fields (ideally in B2B, SaaS, or technology).
- Experience leading, developing, or managing a team required.
- Proven experience managing or activating large-scale sponsorships, experiential partnerships, or branded events strongly preferred.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple programs simultaneously while guiding a team to excellence.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across vendors, partners, executives, and internal teams.
- Demonstrated ability to connect experiential programs to pipeline impact and business outcomes.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and familiarity with event platforms, CRM systems, and marketing tools.
- A collaborative mindset, positive attitude, and passion for creating memorable, high-impact experiences.
The pay range for this position is 95K to 123K per year (pay to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data).
