ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Model Development & Training: Design and implement machine learning and deep learning models (e.g., LLMs, Computer Vision, NLP) to address specific use cases.
- Pipeline Architecture: Build and maintain scalable data ingestion and preprocessing pipelines to ensure high-quality data availability for training and inference.
- Deployment & MLOps: Deploy models into production environments (cloud or edge) and manage the MLOps lifecycle, including version control, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and model monitoring.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize model architecture and code for latency, throughput, and cost-efficiency without sacrificing accuracy.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Data Scientists to refine algorithms and with Software Engineers to integrate AI capabilities into core products.
- Research & Innovation: Stay current with the latest advancements in AI/ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) and emerging techniques (e.g., RAG, fine-tuning) to drive innovation.
- Support department activities.
- Work to meet schedules.
This position is part of our Early Career program at WD. Our Early Career program is designed to support individuals beginning their professional career by providing the foundational training through a structured onboarding, mentorship, and development curriculum.
REQUIRED:
- Education: Currently pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science or equivalent experience
SKILLS:
- Programming Languages: Expert-level proficiency in Python.
- ML Frameworks: Strong hands-on experience with frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, or Scikit-learn.
- Cloud Platforms: Experience deploying solutions on cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud Platform.
- MLOps: Proficiency with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools.
- Database Skills: Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with vector databases or NoSQL.
- The internship period must be least 3 months, Cooperative program intern is preferred.
