Staff Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineering

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure that there is no SV1-CFM defect escape to the customer (HSA/HDD)
• Collaborate with the engineering team to define SV1-CFM parameters.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to define the best process control for SV1-CFM parameters.
• Maintaining SF Quality KPI through the use of VFC and Smart Quality
• Support internal/external customers on customer feedback on defect characterization/improvement.
• Assure any wafer/substrate deviation or qualification must be communicated properly to BE team to manage shipment and logistic control. 
• Qualification data must be reviewed with the team before the release wafer shipment
• Assure that all documents related to SF processes are in compliance and exceed expectations
• Assure that appropriate tools (8D / FMEA / SPC / Lesson learn) are correctly used to maintain good quality of the product 

REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Science, Chemistry, Production, or equivalent

PREFERRED:

• Work in HDD business, especially the slider fabricate process, is an advantage

SKILLS:

• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Digital literacy
• Use Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Digital/AI tools
