IT Business Consultant

Summary:
As a Business-IT Liaison, you will work with business leaders to act as a mediator between IT and business units, ensuring technology solutions align with business strategies. Your role involves gathering and analyzing business needs, designing solutions, and driving process improvements to enhance business operations.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business unit leaders to gather business requirements and design technology solutions.
• Act as a business relationship manager, ensuring effective communication between business units and IT.
• Analyze and document business needs and translate them into actionable requirements for IT teams.
• Facilitate the development and improvement of business processes and metrics.
• Propose and influence business solutions while negotiating deliverables and requirements across multiple stakeholders.
• Ensure the integration of systems, software, and hardware solutions supports business growth and efficiency.
• Participate in 'buy vs. build' decisions to optimize technology implementations.
• Support strategic planning initiatives as a project team member or team lead.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant technical and business work experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in aligning technology solutions with business strategies.
• Strong understanding of information systems and business processes.
• Ability to engage with senior management and corporate staff executives on complex issues with strategic importance.
• Experience in leading or participating in strategic planning projects.
