Overview Strawberry Fields LLC is a woman-owned landscape design and installation company based out of Silver Spring Maryland. Our mission is to create beautiful and sustainable landscapes for our clients in our local community. We are passionate about gardening, native plants and artistic landscapes that thrive. We work with our clients to create your dream garden, along with creating a garden that thrives within your unique landscape. Along with our landscape company, we also own a small urban farm called Lillian Farms in Beltsville, Maryland, where we grow and sell a variety of plants including many native plants.

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Part-Time Social Media and Marketing Coordinator to elevate our brand presence across digital platforms. This role offers an exciting opportunity to craft compelling content, engage with diverse audiences, and implement innovative marketing strategies that resonate and inspire. Duties

  • Develop and execute engaging social media campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and more to boost brand awareness and audience engagement.
  • Create specific visually appealing graphics, videos, and photography using Adobe Creative Suite tools like Photoshop and Illustrator to support content strategies.
  • Design and create weekly mailchimp newsletters for Lillian Farms.
  • Manage social listening tools to monitor brand mentions, industry trends, and customer feedback, ensuring timely responses and reputation management.
  • Utilize social media management applications such as Hootsuite and Buffer to schedule posts, track performance metrics, and optimize content delivery.
  • Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to enhance online visibility and drive traffic to our website and e-commerce channels.
  • Collaborate with the public relations team to craft press releases, media pitches, and partnership opportunities that strengthen brand relationships.
  • Analyze web analytics using Google Analytics and web analytics tools to measure campaign success, refine strategies, and report on key performance indicators.
  • Support branding initiatives by maintaining consistent messaging across all digital platforms while ensuring proofread content maintains high quality standards.
  • Assist in planning digital advertising campaigns on Facebook Advertising and other paid channels to maximize reach and ROI.
  • Engage with followers through comments, messages, and community interactions to foster strong relationships and brand loyalty.

Qualifications

  • Background in gardening and/or horticulture preferred
  • Proven experience in social media marketing, content creation, or digital marketing roles with a portfolio of successful campaigns.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro (video editing), and Adobe Creative Suite for graphic design and multimedia content development.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research techniques, and web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics.
  • Knowledge of Instagram advertising platform for creating targeted ad campaigns that align with marketing goals.
  • Excellent proofreading skills with keen attention to detail for all written content.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
