Job Description

Job Summary

The Tax Accountant is responsible to ensure tax related processes and submission are in compliance with Tax Regulation, RA standards, policies and procedures. He/she is expected to have a good understanding of the processes that he/she is performing and its relationship with the upstream and downstream processes. You needs to identify the bottlenecks in the process and will initiate discussions for changes and where appropriate implement these changes under the guidance of the supervisor. Where available, this position will partner with other functions to create end-to-end processes with the view of a smooth straight through processing.

Your Responsibilities:

• Responsible for handling local tax work:
  • Monthly TAX declaration for APR entities,
  • VAT invoice management, Annual GST & FBT filing,
  • Relevant information provided as required by the tax bureau
• Tax account reconciliation
• Internal controls:
  • Partner with other functions to improve process,
  • Facilitate tax audits for the Company.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Possess a minimum of bachelor degree in Accounting / Finance;
• At least 4 years experiences in tax position or minimum of 2 years of local firm indirect tax experience;

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• Possess good documentation and communication skills;
• Familiarity with SAP system;
• Fluent in both Mandarin and English.
