Role Responsibilities

• Prepare and review accounting records, financial reports, and supporting documentation in line with GAAP.

• Review and validate journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet activity.

• Support month-end close (MEC) activities and ensure timely and accurate reporting.

• Perform and review BlackLine reconciliations; investigate and resolve discrepancies.

• Support accounting activities across money transfer, money order, US Wallet, and prepaid card products.

• Participate in system and process initiatives (e.g., AS400 to ORMB migration, automation, account cleanup).

• Assist in testing for new business initiatives, acquisitions, and accounting changes.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and strengthen internal controls.

• Support internal and external audits, as well as regulatory reporting requirements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Settlement Operations, Finance, Product, GL and Corporate Accounting).

• Provide guidance and support to junior team members when needed.

Role Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP).

• Experience in accounting, financial reporting, or reconciliation activities.

• Experience with month-end close processes.

• Familiarity with reconciliation tools (e.g., BlackLine) is an advantage.

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders.

• Strong communication skills and ability to explain financial information clearly.

• Experience with accounting systems (e.g., ERP systems such as AS400, ORMB or similar) is a plus.

• Proactive mindset with focus on process improvement and problem-solving.

Work Shift

Salary

The monthly gross base salary range is 3,250 – 4,766 EUR. This range represents anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible for an annual variable target incentive (which may include long-term incentives, if eligible) that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidate’s qualifications, skills and competencies.
