Histotechnician

Labcorp is seeking a Histotechnician to join our team in Shanghai, China.

Job Responsibilities:

•Performs duties of necropsy

•Performs histology (Include trimming, decalcification, processing, embedding, sectioning, staining, cover slipping and QC)

•Performs necropsy and/or histology study responsibilities

•Performs other duties as assigned

•Report all animal care concerns and become involved in the resolution and appropriate corrective action, when necessary

•Responsible for Tox sample management, including handling, transferring, and inventory until archive.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Histology, Laboratory Animal Technology or Veterinary Technology
• 3 months or more experience using computer and office software applications (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, MS-Access and Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications:

•Certification as a Histology Technician by ASCP or an AALAS certification at the Laboratory Animal Technician level

• 1 or more years of experience in Histology
