Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Architect with extensive expertise in designing and delivering large-scale telecom and enterprise infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience in network security, LAN/WAN architecture, cloud integration (Azure, AWS), enterprise networking solutions, and Cisco-based infrastructure. This role requires the ability to lead high-level architecture discussions, collaborate with telecom vendors, and ensure secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Architecture & Design
- Lead the end-to-end architecture, design, and review of LAN/WAN networks for enterprise-scale deployments.
- Define and implement telecom infrastructure blueprints, including connectivity models, security policies, and vendor deliverables.
- Develop and validate network strategies supporting multi-cloud (Azure, AWS) and hybrid enterprise environments.
- Security & Firewall Expertise
- Architect and manage large-scale deployments of firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet) to ensure robust perimeter and internal security.
- Define and review network security policies, segmentation strategies, and compliance requirements.
- Cloud & Enterprise Solutions
- Design and integrate cloud-based networking and security frameworks across Azure and AWS.
- Implement and optimize enterprise solutions such as SD-WAN, F5 Load Balancers, VPN, and traffic management platforms.
- Cisco Infrastructure
- Extensive experience designing, configuring, and managing Cisco routers and switches for enterprise and carrier-grade networks.
- Expertise in IP telephony, VoIP, and unified communications solutions using Cisco platforms.
- Conduct performance tuning, redundancy planning, and high availability designs for Cisco-based infrastructure.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with telecom vendors and service providers to align architecture with project deliverables.
- Provide technical governance, review vendor proposals, and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on network modernization, resilience, and scalability.
Required Skills & Experience
Network Security: Expert-level knowledge of firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet) and advanced security design.
- LAN/WAN Architecture: Proven experience designing, reviewing, and optimizing large-scale enterprise and telecom networks.
- Cisco Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, and IP telephony/unified communications solutions.
- Telecom Infrastructure: Deep exposure to telecom-grade architecture, carrier-grade connectivity, and vendor collaboration.
- Cloud Platforms: Hands-on design and deployment experience on Azure and AWS networking services.
- Enterprise Solutions: Expertise in SD-WAN, F5 Load Balancer, VPN, MPLS, and advanced routing protocols.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Skilled in leading architecture discussions, vendor negotiations, and cross-functional collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in network architecture & telecom infrastructure projects.
- Certifications such as CCNP/CCIE/CCDE (R&S, Collaboration, Security), Palo Alto PCNSE, Fortinet NSE,
- Strong knowledge of network automation, monitoring tools
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective network solutions.
