Job description

Job Description SummaryThe Supply Chain Technician II is responsible for all duties expressed within the Supply Chain Technician I position description and will have demonstrated mastery in the essential areas covered there within. Additionally, the Supply Chain Tech II will demonstrate the ability to navigate the ERP system. Varied tasks within the department of Materials Management, as assigned by the Supply Chain Coordinator, in support of clinical activities within the medical complex, will be performed by the Tech II.

Job Description

Performs receiving, checking, storing, inventory control and other duties in a warehouse, storeroom or supply room. Receives supplies and equipment; performs quality and quantity checks of new supplies and equipment. Maintains detailed inventory records of supplies and equipment on hand. Requisitions and issues parts, supplies and equipment. Administers and implements stock rotation schedules. Assigns identification numbers to appropriate property and equipment and applies property accountability decals. Performs periodic inventories and prepares inventory reports. Assists in the disposal of obsolete and surplus equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of 6 months as a Supply Chain Specialist I (or equivalent experience/duties at another employer) is REQUIRED.

All Contract-to-hire employees shall be eligible for Supply Chain Specialist II regardless of if they have completed the 6 month contract period.
