Job description
- Duties include, but are not limited to: patient admissions, completing progress notes, patient education, prescribing medications, order diagnostic tests, and recommending therapeutic interventions. Additional duties as assigned. Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of Physician. Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs. Records physical findings, and formulates plan and prognosis, based on patient's condition. Discusses case with Physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan. Submits health care plan and goals of individual patients for periodic review and evaluation by Physician. Prescribes or recommends drugs or other forms of treatment such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy, or related therapeutic procedures. Refers patients to Physician for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment.

Education and Experience
Current WI RN and Nurse Practitioner Licensure
Certification and Licensure
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Possession of a current applicable Wisconsin RN license
Meets the requirements determined by the State of WI to perform duties defined as those of a Nurse Practitioner
ACLS and CPR required
Skills and Abilities

Ability to work with patients, families, multidisciplinary health care providers, and providers. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications and organizational and prioritization skills. Has the ability to work independently and make decisions. Ability to perform multiple functions with minimal direction, independent of supervision.
