$19.50Summary
The Locker Attendant maintains locker room and guest areas in a clean and orderly condition. This position upholds and promotes LJBTC, Inc’s Signature Service standards to ensure an exceptional member and guest experience. The Locker Attendant contributes to creating a lasting impression of exemplary service, resulting in highly satisfied and loyal members and guests.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receives schedules and work assignments from Housekeeping Supervisory staff.
Scrubs guest and employee rest room walls, floors, mirrors, fixtures, sinks, vanities, toilets and urinals. Replenishes restroom supplies. Records tasks performed on cleaning log posted in each rest room.
Cleans public restrooms.
Sweeps, cleans, waxes, and polishes floors.
Empties wastebaskets, empties and cleans ashtrays and transport trash and waste to disposal area.
Sorts linens into bins by type and loads and starts the washer on the appropriate cycle.
Removes linen from washers and loads and starts dryer, setting the correct temperature and time.
Removes linen from dryers and removes linen that is stained and spotted for treatment.
Starts finish work, folds linen and places on shelves.
Records starting and ending times of washers and dryers.
Transports excess soiled linen to Laundry Department.
Maintains the linen and laundry room in neat and orderly condition.
Other duties may be assigned.
OUTCOME
Clean hotel facilities and positive staff attitudes will strongly influence guest impressions of the total organization. A satisfied guest is a repeat customer.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous cleaning experience in a hotel preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to customers, managers, supervisors, or employees of organization. Must have the ability to effectively communicate in English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Employees in this position interact frequently with the Engineering and Front Desk Departments. Employees must have the ability to communicate and work with these and other internal customers. Employees also have frequent guest contact.
SCHEDULING
Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
This company operates seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Shifts will generally be rotated unless you were hired for a specific shift, as much as possible to be fair to everyone. At times it may be necessary to move you from your accustomed shift if business or task assignments demand.
