Job Description:
The Assistant Curriculum Coordinator provides administrative and curricular support to the Office of Medical Education. In collaboration with faculty, curriculum coordinators, and senior academic leadership, this role supports the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of the medical curriculum while ensuring efficient day-to-day operations of the office. This position reports to the Director of Medical Education.
Essential Functions
- Assist with editing, formatting, and maintaining course syllabi.
- Support curriculum coordinators in preparing materials for foundational courses, including active learning sessions.
- Upload, organize, and maintain course materials, schedules, curriculum mapping, and evaluations within learning management systems (e.g., Canvas, One45).
- Provide logistical support for course sessions, including setup and breakdown, distribution of materials, and attendance tracking.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings for faculty, staff, and curriculum committees.
- Monitor office supply inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Process reconciliations and reimbursements in accordance with university policies.
- Coordinate candidate interviews and campus visits, including travel arrangements, itineraries, and presentation logistics.
- Provide general operational and administrative support for the Office of Medical Education.
- Assist with planning and execution of special events and departmental projects.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 2–4 years of administrative experience, preferably in an academic or healthcare setting.
SALARY RANGE - $20-$22 per hour

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Professional, customer service–oriented approach when interacting with faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
