We are seeking a results-oriented and highly experienced Staff Business Systems Analyst to join our team, focusing on optimizing and supporting our core Finance and Accounting systems, with a primary emphasis on NetSuite ERP. This role will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders (Finance, Accounting, Revenue, Procurement) and technical teams, ensuring our financial systems are efficient, scalable, and compliant, particularly across critical processes like Quote-to-Cash (QTC), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Record-to-Report (R2R).The ideal candidate should have a deep expertise in enterprise financial processes and systems, experience with a complex ecosystem of financial applications, like Netsuite, Oracle Fusion, Zip, Pigment, Zuora etc. and excellent collaboration skills.
This is an individual contributor (IC) role reporting to the Senior Director, Business Systems, and will partner closely with a team of analysts, engineers, and delivery leads embedded within Finance and IT.
This is a remote US role, with a preference for candidates based in Pacific or Central time zones to align with Finance, Accounting, and IT stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- System Ownership & Strategy: Define and execute the Finance technology vision and roadmap across Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Payments, and T&E. Partner with Finance leadership to optimize workflows, improve automation, and strengthen operational controls across OTC, P2P, R2R. Serve as the subject matter expert for NetSuite ERP, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting across modules like OM, Billing, Revenue, GL, AR, AP, Inventory and COGS.
- Business Analysis & Requirements: Elicit, analyze, and document detailed business and functional requirements, user stories, and process flows from Finance, Accounting, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
- Process Optimization: Drive AI driven automation opportunities to enhance reconciliations, forecasting, anomaly detection, close acceleration, and exception handling, drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives across key financial workflows:
- Quote-to-Cash (QTC): Support and optimize processes from quoting/contract management through billing, invoicing, collections, and revenue recognition (NetSuite ARM or Zuora Revenue).
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P): Optimize procurement, vendor management, expense reporting (Zip and Netsuite integration support), and accounts payable processes.
- Record-to-Report (R2R): Support month-end/quarter-end close activities, general ledger management, financial reporting, and compliance activities.
- Delivery & Execution: Collaborate with other Business Systems Analysts, Product Managers, Developers to manage the product backlog, configure system changes, and support testing (SIT, UAT) and successful deployment of enhancements and new features.
- Compliance & Controls: Ensure strict adherence to IT SOX compliance, audit requirements, access controls, and change management processes. Gather and maintain audit evidence.
- Support & Monitoring: Manage intake, triage, and resolution of production issues within defined SLAs. Configure saved searches, reports, and dashboards to improve system visibility and performance. Support Month-end and quarter-end close processes
- Integration Support: Oversee and troubleshoot data integrity and system integrations between NetSuite and ancillary systems (e.g. CPQ, Commerce platforms, ZIP, Data Lake etc.).
- Mentorship:Lead and mentor junior business systems analysts to deliver measurable outcomes and operational excellence.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party system vendors and implementation partners, including SLA tracking, escalations, and roadmap alignment.
Governance and Documentation: Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, Procurement, Legal, Security and Data teams to ensure cohesive governance, architecture, audit readiness, delivery and scalability.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience: 10+ years of experience as a Finance Business Systems Analyst or NetSuite ERP product ownership roles, with proven expertise in supporting Finance and Accounting functions, preferably in a SaaS or high-growth environment.
- Deep hands experience with Netsuite ERP and strong understanding of modules like OM, billing, supply chain, revenue recognition, intercompany processes, FX, and financial reporting.
- Ability to create/modify fields, Saved Searches, reports, Pdf forms and help close processes.Ability to evaluate technical feasibility of configurations and work fluently with developers on complex solutions.
- Track record of successfully delivering large-scale financial system implementations, integrations, or automation initiatives.
- Deep understanding of ASC 606 compliance, revenue contract arrangements, performance obligations, and automation workflows.
- Familiarity with systems supporting the QTC (e.g., Salesforce CPQ, Zuora, Hubspot, Dealhub), P2P (e.g., ZIP), and T&E (e.g. Airbase, Travel Perk ) lifecycles is a strong plus.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of core Finance/Accounting principles and end-to-end financial processes (QTC, P2P, R2R, revenue recognition, SOX compliance).
- Analytical Skills: Proven ability to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements and solutions. Strong problem-solving and root cause identification skills. Experience building SuiteAnalytics Workbooks.
- Data Governance: Familiarity with data governance frameworks, master data management (MDM), and ERP data architecture standards to ensure consistency, integrity, and auditability across financial systems.
- Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills to partner effectively with Finance leaders, technical teams, and end-users.
- Project Management: Skilled in Agile/Scrum delivery, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release management.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
Preferred:
- Experience with Hardware-Enabled SaaS billing models (membership subscription, hardware sale etc.)
- Knowledge of advanced NetSuite modules (ARM, Multi-Book, OneWorld).
- Familiarity with integration platforms such as Workato, Boomi, SnapLogic, or MuleSoft.
- Experience with NetSuite customization tools including SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, and SuiteTalk/REST APIs.
- Background in global finance operations with multi-currency, multi-entity environments.
- Exposure to AI/automation in finance processes (e.g., RPA, workflow automation, agentic AI).
- Experience supporting or implementing EPM/FP&A platforms (e.g., Pigment, Anaplan, Adaptive Insights) in partnership with Finance and FP&A teams.

Oura takes a market-based approach to pay, which may vary depending on your location. US locations are categorized into tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. While most offers will be closer to the starting range, successful candidates' pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, internal peer equity, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
- Region 1: $170,000 - $200,000
- Region 2: $154,700 - $182,000
- Region 3: $139,400 - $164,000
