Helper

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Helper to join our team in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. As a Helper, you will play a crucial role in supporting our construction and marine-related projects by assisting skilled workers, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe work environment.

• Set up tools, equipment, and materials at work sites
• Assist carpenters, fitters, masons, and other team members as required
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic equipment or machinery
• Carry out tasks assigned by immediate group leaders and foremen
• Support the storekeeper in organizing and managing material stock
• Clean and organize tools, equipment, and work areas after each shift
• Perform tasks in various environments, including near shorelines and in confined spaces
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Contribute to accident prevention by maintaining a clean and organized work environment
• Follow instructions from immediate supervisors and work collaboratively with team members
• Assist in the completion of projects by performing various support tasks as needed

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction or marine-related work in the UAE
• Overall 5 years of experience in a similar field
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
• Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor
• Basic understanding of safety procedures and willingness to follow safety protocols
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Flexibility to work in various weather conditions and environments
• Good organizational skills and ability to maintain a clean work area
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to support team members
• Basic English language skills for effective communication
• Swimming skills (preferred)
• Knowledge of rigger or fitter helper duties (preferred)
• Ability to work efficiently and meet project deadlines
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities
