As a Security Engineer at KAYAK, you will have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies to implement industry-leading security practices. This role is required to work from our Berlin, Germany office 3 days per week.
In this role, you will
- Implement security improvements in our endpoint, on prem and cloud IT environments.
- Monitor for and investigate potential security incidents.
- Conduct regular scanning/auditing of critical components.
- Contribute to security incident response playbooks.
- Help manage and implement the latest state of the art security tools.
Please apply if you have
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or Computer Science/Engineering.
- Strong analytical thinking.
- Strong technical background with proficiency in at least one of: systems administration, network design and configuration, incident response, security analytics, scripting.
- Working knowledge of Linux, MacOS and Windows Desktop and Server operating systems and computer networking.
- Experience with cloud computing and security, preferably AWS..
- Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response, IDS, Email Security, IAM, SIEM, SOAR tools.
- Experience working with AI models and building workflows.
