The Job

The Director of Marketing will play a leading role in developing and executing Core Scientific’s marketing initiatives as we continue to expand further into the AI and HPC data center infrastructure space. This is a unique opportunity to join a forward-thinking team at the forefront of technology, shaping strategies that amplify our brand, engage with key decision-makers, and drive business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee demand generation efforts, including creative content development, outbound campaigns, and strategic partnerships to increase brand visibility, support pipeline development, and create qualified opportunities for the sales team.
  • Lead social media strategy across platforms with a focus on thought leadership, audience engagement, brand consistency, and performance against business objectives.
  • Design and execute multi-functional campaigns to target companies, ensuring deep engagement with key prospects, key partners and internal teams.
  • Manage and optimize the marketing budget, ensuring a strong ROI for all initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure the right community engagement and positioning to deliver Core Scientific’s reputation and value proposition.
  • Work closely with internal teams (Investor Relations, Sales, Operations, Power and HR) and external partners to deliver cohesive, high-impact campaigns.
  • Develop a cohesive annual strategic calendar taking into account all events, tradeshows, races and match the associated tactics to deliver a comprehensive program.
  • Foster open, respectful, and professional communication directly within the team, with co-workers/ teammates, and leaders across the organization.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (MBA preferred)
  • 10 years of progressive experience in digital and integrated marketing
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Expertise in all elements of social media marketing, branding and positioning
  • Proven project management abilities with a track record of delivering on time and within budget

Occasional travel is required as needed.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, and smartphones.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, and lift to 20 pounds.

Position Type/ Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time, onsite position. General hours and days of work are Monday through Friday, some nights and weekends may be required.
