Java Developer with eTrading systems and Fixed Income domain

Java Developer eTrading (Fixed Income)seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with proven experience in electronic trading (eTrading) within the Fixed Income space. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance trading applications that support our Fixed Income business.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong proficiency in Java (Core Java, multithreading, collections, performance tuning).
• Hands-on experience in eTrading systems within the Fixed Income domain.
• Solid understanding of market microstructure, order management, and trade lifecycle.
• Experience with messaging technologies (e.g., Kafka, JMS) and low-latency systems.
• Familiarity with FIX protocol and electronic trading workflows.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize Java-based applications for Fixed Income eTrading platforms.
• Collaborate with traders, quants, and business analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure low-latency, high-throughput system performance for real-time trading.
• Implement best practices in coding, testing, and deployment to maintain system reliability.
• Work closely with infrastructure teams to enhance scalability and resilience.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory requirements in Fixed Income trading.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to other asset classes (Equities, FX, Derivatives).
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and caching solutions.
• Prior work in Agile development environments.
