Responsibilities

• Assist students individually and in small groups
• Supervise students in the classroom and elsewhere in the school
• Enforce classroom rules and procedures
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records
• Communicate with parents and school personnel as requested by the head teacherQualifications:
• Previous experience as a teacher is preferred
• Understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
• Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Energetic and positive attitude
• Ability to pass a background check
