Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for a Sr. Principal Product Support Project Manager to join our team in Merit Island, FL, working with the U.S. Navy.
This role will support coordinating with the D5LE2 team to develop product support policies and other duties as assigned.
What You'll Get to Do:
- Integrate with D5LE2 team, engineering, and other entities to develop product support guidelines and policies.
- Support the numerous internal and external meetings by providing charts and verbally participating in discussions regarding fleet supply status, cost, schedule, and technical topics.
- Support miscellaneous projects/tasks within the Launcher Logistics Team as required.
- Coordinate planning requirements for DASO (or test) activities and facility needs
- Serve as logistics liaison between the engineers and the customer at build yards, shipyards, and test facilities
- Coordinate efforts to identify, resolve, and/or mitigate Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) issues on selected bill of materials
- Assist in the development and maintenance of the LAUNCHER LOGISTICS SUPPORT PLAN
- Coordinating with other team members to integrate sparing and level of repair analyses into the system of record
- Interacting with team leads to interpret Customer needs and requirements
- Participate in provisioning conferences and formal provisioning
- Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
- Prepare and submit data items in accordance with DoD requirements and contracts.
Basic Qualifications for the Sr. Principal Product Support Project Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant logistics experience; OR a master’s degree with 6 or more years of relevant logistics experience
- Prior experience working with cross-functional organizations (Program Office, Engineering, Business Management, Field Operations, etc.)
- Experience with SAP, ERP (or similar) system, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
- US Citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications for the Sr. Principal Product Support Project Manager :
- Experience with the Navy Supply system with expertise in a variety of Logistics support functions, including Product Support and DMSMS.
- Experience working with the Department of War Logistics system.
- Experience with customer compliance documents, government instructions, contacts, and government standards.
- Experience with MS Project, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, and Confluence.
- Active Secret Clearance

Primary Level Salary Range: $101,400.00 - $152,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
