The Software Engineer will be part of the OIS team, focusing on developing scalable, high-quality software solutions using modern architecture practices.

Position Duties

• Develop and document high- and low-level design specifications following clean architecture principles.
• Design and develop software modules, RESTful APIs, unit tests, and automated test cases.
• Build and maintain .NET-based APIs and backend services.
• Apply Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and design patterns in development.
• Provide effort estimates and manage tasks using Agile SCRUM methodology.
• Debug and resolve production issues using modern tools and root cause analysis techniques.
• Analyze and optimize SQL Server database performance, including queries and stored procedures.
• Develop scripts, tools, and utilities to monitor and detect issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in code reviews.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required

BE, MSc, MCA, Computer Science, or related discipline

Experience: 2–5 Years

Technologies Required

• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET / .NET Core, Web API
• Experience with WPF / WinForms (desktop applications)
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server

Required Skills

• 2–5 years of experience in multi-tier application development
• Strong hands-on experience in .NET API development
• Solid understanding of Clean Architecture / Layered Architecture
• Strong coding skills in C#, WPF, multithreading, and SOA
• Strong database skills:
  • Writing complex queries
  • Stored procedures
  • Performance tuning and query optimization
• Strong knowledge of OOPS, OOAD, and design patterns
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (TFS/Azure DevOps)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Desirable Skills

• Exposure to DevOps practices (CI/CD, automated deployments)
• Knowledge of Windows internals and debugging tools
• Experience working with distributed teams and customer interactions
• Exposure to cloud technologies (Azure preferred)
