Position Highlights

Spencer Hospital is a rural hospital located in northwest Iowa employing over 500+ employees. Positions at Spencer Hospital are not affiliated with Avera; however, we collaborate to provide services to the communities we serve. Employment offers, if accepted, are exclusively with Spencer Hospital.

Responsibilities: 

• Assist patients before and after procedures
• Participates in the delivery of patient care services by providing direct and indirect care under the supervision of licensed personnel.
• Must be a caring communicator, flexible, able to multitask and be comfortable with technological systems.

Requirements:

• CNA certification
• Nurse aide registry eligible
• BLS (may obtain on-site after employment at no cost to employee)

Schedule:

• 72 hours a pay period. 
• Variable 8 & 10 hour dav/evening shifts starting at 5:30a and 6:30a
• No weekends or holidays
• The schedule may fluctuate based upon the needs of the department
