Job description

Job Summary

The Cycle Counter Clerk is responsible for tracking inventory of various materials; finding the root causes for inventory discrepancies and accurately recording inventory counts in the system.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Counts and tracks physical inventory
  • Maintains accurate records of counts and frequency of counts
  • Communicates any variances or inventory discrepancies to management
  • Records inventory counts in the accounting system
  • Investigates any inventory discrepancies and document any corrections
  • Ensures accuracy of the information in the system and compliance with internal controls
  • Prepares various reports and correspondence as required
  • Performs other duties as required

Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Minimum one year of experience in inventory control or related area
  • Working knowledge of inventory internal controls, and company procedures
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Basic knowledge of lumber math, lumber grades and species
  • Preferred understanding of company policies, practices and procedures
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

 

Hourly Pay Starting $17-$21 depending on experience

                *pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of living
