Job Title: Senior GoLang Developer IV

Project / Team Context

• Team: Media Analysis Framework (MAF)
• Focused on building mission-critical pipelines and components for media analysis
• Supports analysis capabilities for NBCUniversal Peacock

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and testing of Go-based applications
• Build and enhance media analysis pipeline components
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects
• Ensure high code quality, scalability, and performance
• Refactor existing systems to improve maintainability
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and estimates
• Participate in architectural discussions and document decisions
• Work with distributed systems, messaging platforms, and databases
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable solutions

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Go (Golang)
• Strong experience working in Linux environments, including:
• PKI and certificate management
• SSH key management
• Experience with containers & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and infrastructure automation
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure)
• Strong understanding of distributed systems architecture
• Experience with messaging systems:
• Kafka
• NATS
• Kinesis
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Proficiency with version control systems (GitHub or equivalent)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with authentication systems (SSO, MFA)
• Experience with Active Directory / LDAP integrations
• Exposure to AI or video-based systems
• Experience building MCP servers
• Frontend experience using React
• Programming experience with Python or C
• Experience working with private cloud environments
• Relevant certifications:
