The Onsite Logistics Specialist within our field Logistics department, in Beaver Dam, WI, will oversee all operations for assigned site or area and provides tooling and material support to field personnel. This role will be responsible for the coordination of deliveries, tooling and material inventories and vendor managed inventories. This position is highly collaborative and shares information internally to optimize efficiency and effectiveness, while delivering extraordinary service.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: HS Diploma or GED. ASCM Warehouse, Forklift, Rigging, and Lull certification preferred

Experience: 2-3 years of logistics experience

Travel: Up to 100%
Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 6 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday. May vary based on customer demands and can include, but is not limited to: nights, weekends, and holidays. Overtime may be required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs equipment operation duties and material handling
  • Be able to communicate effectively with internal customers (FTI Field Members and Supervisors) 
  • Communicate issues to OLL and crews efficiently 
  • Leads a team of 1-2 members in an area of operation 
  • Be a direct point of contact to coordinate needs directly to certain electrical crews (Building POC) 
  • Direct Material Deliveries to proper location onsite 
  • Help manage stock levels onsite, and the inventory tracker for 2-3 crews 
  • Execute and close out onsite requests 
  • Be proficient in equipment operation and help manage the maintenance and tracking of equipment. 
  • Conduct daily walkthroughs to monitor stock, cleanliness, and crew needs. 
  • Demonstrates excellent customer relations through utilization of effective problem-solving techniques.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
