Snowflake Data Engineer | About You
As a Snowflake Data Engineer, you are responsible for transforming complex, raw data into trusted, authoritative sources that power analytics and business decisionmaking. You thrive in fastpaced, agile environments and enjoy designing scalable data solutions that integrate across cloud platforms. You bring strong expertise in Snowflake, Azure, SQL, and ETL development, and you're comfortable working across the full data lifecycle, from ingestion through analytics enablement. You collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders to deliver highquality, reliable data products. You also bring a strong passion for AIassisted development and modern vibe coding, actively leveraging intelligent tools to accelerate development, improve code quality, and explore innovative data engineering patterns.
Snowflake Data Engineer | Day-to-Day
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable data pipelines using Snowflake, Azure, and modern ETL frameworks.
- Develop and optimize SQLbased transformations and data models that support enterprise reporting, analytics, and data products.
- Partner with business, analytics, and engineering teams to create authoritative data sources that enable selfservice analytics and commercialization.
- Support and enhance data integration processes, including modernization of legacy ingestion and transformation workflows.
- Collaborate with BI and analytics teams to enable reporting and selfservice analytics using platforms such as Power BI or Sigma, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
- Participate in Agile delivery practices using tools such as Jira and ServiceNow, contributing to planning, documentation, and continuous improvement.
- Actively apply AIpowered coding tools and automation techniques to streamline development workflows, improve efficiency, and experiment with emerging capabilities.
Snowflake Data Engineer | Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong handson experience with Snowflake, including data modeling, performance optimization, and largescale transformation workloads.
- Required expertise in Azure, SQL, and ETL development, supporting cloudbased data platforms and integrations.
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining enterprisegrade data pipelines and transformation frameworks.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and ServiceNow.
- Experience supporting analytics and reporting platforms such as Power BI or Sigma, with an understanding of selfservice analytics principles.
- AIassisted development experience is required, including handson use of tools such as Claude Code, GPTbased assistants, Cursor, Kizer, or similar technologies to enhance productivity and innovation.
- Experience working with healthcare or regulated industry data is a strong plus, including awareness of data quality, governance, and sensitivity considerations.
