Job description

Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Financials Functional Consultant to join our team at Hitachi Digital Services. This role involves providing expert functional guidance and support for our Oracle E-Business Suite Financials modules, ensuring optimal system performance and alignment with business requirements.

Job Responsibilities**

* Lead and participate in the full lifecycle of Oracle EBS Financials implementations, upgrades, and enhancements, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
* Analyze complex business processes and translate them into effective Oracle EBS Financials solutions.
* Configure and maintain Oracle EBS Financials modules (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Project Accounting) to meet specific business needs.
* Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and scripts to validate system functionality and ensure data integrity.
* Provide ongoing functional support, troubleshooting, and user training for Oracle EBS Financials applications.
* Collaborate with technical teams to define and review technical specifications for customizations, integrations, and reports.
* Prepare detailed documentation, including functional specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals.
* Stay current with Oracle EBS Financials best practices, new features, and industry trends.
* Act as a subject matter expert for Oracle EBS Financials within the organization.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle EBS Financials Functional Consultant.
* Deep functional expertise in multiple Oracle EBS Financials modules (e.g., GL, AP, AR, FA, CE, PA).
* Proven experience in at least two full lifecycle Oracle EBS Financials implementations.
* Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and best practices.
* Ability to analyze complex business requirements and design effective solutions within Oracle EBS.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Oracle EBS Financials certifications are a plus.
