Job description

  • Support key high priority initiatives designed to drive growth for each individual business unit as well as overall enterprise-level growth for two senior executives designated to report to owners.
  • Support the development of quarterly business reviews for each of the brands to provide a holistic picture of performance, including financials, sales, and marketing. These serve as a comprehensive overview for the owners.
  • Lead key commercial growth, operational, technological, and organizational improvements, including guiding the process of building new teams and processes from the ground up (e.g., innovation, AI/innovative tech, RGM, among others).
  • Act as front-line contact for BU presidents and executives on behalf of those two executives.  
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and act as a centralized point of contact to share information, analyze results, and build reports.
  • Develop concise and actionable reports highlighting only the critical information needed to guide strategic decisions.
  • Create secondary research reports by summarizing readily available data sources to deepen clients’ market knowledge (e.g., innovation category deep-dives, competitive brand and product analyses).
  • Lead effective presentations and brainstorms with senior level audiences across the organization.
  • Mentor junior team members across projects through ongoing training and development. 
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in strategy, consulting, operations, technology, finance, or related fields; MBA preferred. Food & beverage or consumer packaged goods (CPG) experience preferred.
  • Strong quantitative and Excel data analysis skills: Comfortable with quantitative data analysis and manipulating large data sets from a range of sources (e.g., finance) in Excel; ability to think critically and identify themes from large data sets and communicate key findings clearly.
  • Strong business and financial acumen: Excellent business acumen combined with strategic thinking; ability to read and interpret a P&L, understand various business metrics (EBITDA, profit margin) and glean meaningful business insights.
  • Proven ability to drive commercial growth through RGM: Ability to identify business growth opportunities and support RGM initiatives.
  • M&A evaluation experience (preferred): Experience with M&A evaluations as a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, project execution, and stakeholder management: Superior analytical problem-solving skills in ambiguous or undefined situations; takes initiative to identify solutions; able to manage multiple projects, prioritize work, and partner with internal and external stakeholders by establishing clear timelines and communications to deliver high-quality results on short timeframes.
  • Executive-level communication and presentation skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to put together and present thoughtful and interactive presentations; ability to build reports from scratch in PowerPoint; demonstrated executive presence.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required.

Pay Range: $140,000 - $150,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
