To excel in this role, you'll need to take a client-centric approach, understanding their business goals and challenges, and providing them with tailored financial solutions. You'll need to build strong relationships with our clients, identify new business opportunities, and work closely with our product specialists to deliver innovative solutions. Your ability to communicate effectively, think strategically, and work collaboratively will be key to your success.
What you do
1. Proactively engage in various business development efforts to grow/acquire clients, handle a portfolio of clients, to drive revenue growth in the Conglomerates sector.
2. Work closely with overseas colleagues to identify and crystallise opportunities across the entire value chain in Singapore and overseas markets.
3. Independently liaise and collaborate with product partners as well as supporting units of the Bank to cross-sell products including trade, treasury, cash management, capital markets.
4. Responsible for setting and driving account strategy, deepen client relationships for portfolio of accounts.
5. Able to engage in discussions with clients to structure financing solutions tailored to their needs.
6. Responsible for preparing credit proposals and reviews (including preparing of in-depth credit risk analysis and close follow-through of the credit submissions) and handling all related end-to-end processes.
7. Handle legal documentation including liaising with internal and external counsels, credit administration unit.
8. Monitor and manage accounts actively to ensure portfolio health and take timely and appropriate action when necessary.
Who you are
- Minimum 8 years of Corporate Banking experience, preferably in Conglomerates sector, MNCs or large corporates.
- A degree in a relevant field, such as business, finance, or economics.
- Excellent relationship-building, interpersonal, problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to think strategically and work collaboratively.
- Strong knowledge of banking products and services.
- Strong credit, analytical, financial modelling skills.
- Results-driven, able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, proactive, a good team player with a growth mindset.
