Job Description

Team Leader Business Intelligence & Data Governance

Noida/Pune -India

The LCS Business Intelligence Team Leader will be responsible for leading the day‑to‑day delivery of Business Intelligence solutions that ensure data‑driven decision making across Lifecycle Services.

Reporting into the LCS Business Intelligence & Data Governance Manager, you will focus on execution, stakeholder partnership, and team leadership. It ensures BI outputs are accurate, and with care for defined data standards and governance.

The Team Leader plays a critical role in translating business questions into applicable insights. The Team Leader increases adoption of dashboards and analytics, and builds BI solutions on trusted, high‑quality data. This data supports both operational reporting and future AI‑enabled capabilities.

Your Responsibilities:

BI Delivery & Execution

• Lead the delivery of dashboards, reports, and analytics that support LCS operational, financial, quality, and performance objectives.
• Translate requirements into analytical solutions, working closely with stakeholders to refine scope, priorities, and outcomes.
• Ensure BI deliverables are accurate, consistent, and aligned with LCS data definitions and standards.
• Support self‑service BI adoption by enabling users with clear, intuitive reporting and guidance.

Team Leadership & Coaching

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of BI analysts, providing day‑to‑day direction, coaching, and technical guidance.
• Review and assure quality of BI outputs, ensuring consistency, clarity, and business relevance.
• Foster a collaborative, improvement‑focused team culture with a strong focus on learning and best practices.
• Support workload planning and prioritization to balance tactical reporting needs with strategic analytics initiatives.

Data Quality & Governance Alignment

• Operate in alignment with the data governance frameworks, standards, and priorities defined by the LCS Business Intelligence & Data Governance Manager.
• Proactively identify data quality issues and partner with the manager and data owners to resolve root causes.
• Ensure BI assets are documented, traceable, and built on governed data sources.
• Reinforce disciplined data practices that support trust in reporting and analytics.

Analytics Enablement & AI Readiness Support

• Build BI solutions that leverage clean, structured, and well‑defined data to support advanced analytics and AI‑ready use cases.
• Support exploratory analytics, trend analysis, and performance insights that may feed future predictive or AI‑enabled capabilities.
• Collaborate with the manager to identify where data gaps or quality issues could limit analytics or AI effectiveness.

Stakeholder Partnership

• Be a primary point of contact for LCS partners on BI delivery topics, providing updates on progress, insights, and limitations.
• Present insights in a clear, business‑focused manner, tailoring outputs to different audiences.
• Build strong working relationships across LCS functions, IT, Finance, Quality, and Operations.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

Technical & Functional Expertise

• 8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and analytics, including dashboarding and reporting (e.g., Power BI or equivalent).
• Solid understanding of data structures, metrics, and business logic in a services or operations‑focused environment.
• Experience working with multiple data sources and addressing data consistency and quality challenges.
• Translate ambiguous business questions into analytical requirements and outputs.

Leadership & Business Experience

• Prior experience leading BI analysts or similar technical contributors.
• Experience in Managing complex priority projects while delivering high‑quality, on‑time outputs.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders to shape, deliver, and refine analytics solutions.
• Exposure to data governance concepts and appreciation of their importance to analytics and AI success.
• We prefer familiarity with the LCS business.
• Experienced people manager, both direct and indirect.
