Job description

JOB PURPOSE:

The Finance Value Creation Supply Analyst plays a crucial role in driving the actions as a finance business partner for commercial functions, including supply chain and other related areas such as overheads management. This position is pivotal in driving financial performance and contributing to the company’s growth and profitability. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Financial operation: End to end ownership of supply chain cost. Review actuals and forecasts of material prices (Transfer Price), logistic cost, business waste and supply chain overheads. Accountable for the P&L, Movements and Gaps to Business Targets.

· Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on supply chain cost and performance metrics. Support senior stakeholders by providing detailed cost analysis and insights into cost changes across forecast cycles and between different years.

· Forecasting: Ensure accuracy of monthly financial forecast by leading and ensuring a robust Country S&OP. Work with Unilever Finance Team to ensure cash up process is done in a timely and quality manner.

· Optimization: Monitor and analyse financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and make recommendations for cost-improvement initiatives.

· Collaboration: Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:  

SKILLS: 

· Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP is essential.

· Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work fluidly with data across systems and reporting tools. Analyse complex data and provide actionable insights.

· Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to engage clearly and effectively with all stakeholders.

· Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in supply chain reporting and analysis.

EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS:   

· Education: Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field.

· Experience: Several years of experience with a focus on supply chain/ operation finance or related field. Strong understanding of financial analysis & reporting, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

· Stakeholder management: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
