People Business Partnering Intern
Salary
Job description
We’re welcoming 5 interns to experience day-to-day life in Bolt’s People department. This is an 11-week paid internship. Got a friend who’s interested too? Apply together and make it a summer to remember!
About Bolt
Bolt is one of the fastest-growing tech companies in Europe and Africa, serving 100+ million customers across 45+ countries. Our mission? To make cities for people, not cars—and we need you to help make it happen!
About the Role
You'll be embedded in the People Business Partnering team, working directly alongside BPs who support some of Bolt's most critical functions. You'll get hands-on exposure to how a high-growth tech company thinks about people strategy, performance, and organisational effectiveness. Over three months, you'll contribute to real projects with real impact — and leave with a genuine understanding of what it means to be a strategic HR partner in a fast-moving environment.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Support People Business Partners on live strategic projects — org design, team effectiveness, change initiatives — not just observe them
- Play an active role in Bolt's summer performance cycle: helping coordinate the launch, tracking completion, and synthesising data into actionable insights for leaders
- Contribute to talent reviews and help BPs prepare for leadership conversations on team health, potential, and development
- Analyse people data to identify trends (engagement, attrition risk, performance distribution) and help turn that into clear recommendations
- Build and iterate on PBP tools and templates that the team will actually use beyond your internship
- Run your own scoped project — we'll define this with you in week one based on what's most needed and where you can have the most impact
About you
- You are a student in HR, Organisational Psychology, Business, or a related field — or someone who can make a compelling case for why their background is relevant
- You have a genuine curiosity about people, organisations, and what makes teams work well (or not)
- You are comfortable with ambiguity — you'll need to figure things out, not just be told what to do
- You have strong analytical thinking: you can work with data, spot patterns, and communicate findings clearly
- You have high ownership: you treat your work as your own, not as tasks handed to you
- You are proficient in English
Experience is great, but what we really look for is drive, intelligence, and integrity. So even if you don’t tick every box, please consider applying!
Why you’ll love it here:
- Contribute to impactful projects and gain hands-on experience to accelerate your professional growth.
- Work in fast-moving autonomous teams with some of the smartest people in the world.
- Connect with your team at various events to get to know your colleagues.
- Receive a competitive entry-level salary.
*Some perks may differ depending on your location and role.
