What will you do ?

Month-End Close & Financial Accounting

• Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities in accordance with defined close calendars.
• Prepare, manual and recurring journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation.
• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations, investigate variances, and ensure timely resolution of open items.
• Support accruals, provisions, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and intercompany accounting.
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies, SOX/internal controls, and documentation standards.
• Assist in preparation of management reporting schedules and flux analysis.

• Prepare and provide audit schedules, supporting documents, confirmations, and explanations.
• Respond to audit queries, ensure timely closure of audit observations, and support audit adjustments.
• Assist in preparation of statutory financial statements and disclosures as required.
• Support compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS / US GAAP, as applicable).

What will you need to have ?

• 3–6 years of relevant experience in:
  • Month-end close and general accounting
  • Statutory audit coordination
  • Corporate accounting or shared services environment
• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).

Technical & Functional Skills

• Strong understanding of financial accounting and balance sheet mechanics
• Practical knowledge of statutory audit requirements and audit documentation
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Journal entries and reconciliations
  • Accruals, provisions, and variance analysis
• Working knowledge of Ind AS / IFRS / US GAAP (depending on entity)
• Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliation models)
• Familiarity with internal controls and audit processes
