Job description

Lead and scale Blip’s commercial strategy in Madrid (Spain), driving sustainable revenue growth through new customer acquisition, expansion of existing accounts, and the deployment of high-impact conversational AI solutions (chatbots, automation across digital channels, WhatsApp Business API, etc.) that deliver measurable value to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Commercial Strategy & Execution

  • Own and execute the go-to-market strategy for Madrid, aligned with regional and global objectives.
  • Define and drive ambitious revenue targets, ensuring consistent overachievement of monthly and quarterly quotas.
  • Build a predictable and scalable sales engine, including pipeline generation, forecasting accuracy, and conversion optimization.

2. Business Development

  • Identify, prioritize, and develop opportunities across key industries (retail, financial services, telecommunications, healthcare, etc.).
  • Lead complex, consultative sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders (C-level, IT, operations, marketing).
  • Drive enterprise deals from prospecting to close, including discovery, demos, solution design, and commercial negotiations.

3. Customer Value & Solutions

  • Partner closely with Solutions Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to craft tailored value propositions and ROI-driven use cases.
  • Position conversational AI as a strategic enabler of digital transformation, customer experience, and operational efficiency.

4. Leadership & Team Building

  • Build, lead, and scale a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Coach and develop team members to consistently exceed targets and grow into future leaders.
  • Establish best practices, sales playbooks, and performance frameworks.

5. Ecosystem & Market Presence

  • Represent Blip at industry events, conferences, and executive meetings.
  • Develop strategic partnerships and expand the ecosystem (including service partners and technology alliances).
  • Stay ahead of market trends, competitive landscape, and evolving customer needs in conversational AI.

6. Data & Performance Management

  • Leverage CRM tools to manage pipeline, track performance, and deliver accurate forecasts.
  • Monitor key metrics (conversion rates, sales cycle length, ACV, CAC, etc.) and continuously optimize sales performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, Engineering, or related fields
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, focused on Mid-Market and Enterprise segments.
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding revenue targets and closing complex, high-value deals.
  • Experience selling digital solutions such as CRM, automation platforms, chatbots, or conversational AI technologies.
  • Strong understanding of the conversational AI ecosystem (e.g., WhatsApp Business API, omnichannel platforms, automation tools).
  • English: Upper-intermediate to advanced (ability to negotiate and present in English).
