We're making our first ever accounting hire, leveling up our financial operations and scaling our ever-growing customer billing operations. You’ll work full-time out of our Tribeca office in NYC and report to Chris Brantley, Head of Finance and Operations.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Daily accounting. Every transaction properly coded, and is enriched with details that make reporting easy.
• Execute month end close. Own the full scope of reconciling and analyzing asset and liability accounts, closing a multi-entity business.
• Customer billing. Make it simple for our customers to understand their transactions on Grapevine by enriching every transaction with information that makes our customers’ accounting operations a breeze.
• Financial reporting. Produce the fastest, most accurate financial statements you can imagine, and provide reports at multiple resolutions to drive a better understanding of our financial performance.
• Managerial reporting. Make it simple for our leadership team to understand the key takeaways and big insights that drive decision-making at the highest level.
• Financial analysis. When results change dramatically, you don’t stop at saying “the number went up.” You dive deep, understand the mechanics of the business, and raise collective understanding of what drove material change.
• Liaise with 3rd parties. You'll work with tax accountants, valuation analysts, and consultants.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 0-3 years of experience;
• Bachelors in accounting;
• A solid understanding of GAAP – you have the frameworks that lead to good instincts;
• An endless drive that allows you to outwork your competition and a standard of excellence that sees no task as too small to produce the highest quality work product;

WHAT WE OFFER

• Annual base salary of $75,000 - $80,000 + Equity
• Fully paid premiums for health, dental, and vision insurance;
• Time Off:
• Not in Office & Not Working: 10 Days
• Not in Office, But Still Working: 10 Days
• 5 days onsite in our fully renovated office in Tribeca; and
