Internal 6-Month Secondment Opportunity
Location: AP8, Derby

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Rotating Shifts: 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm) - B Shift
Job Purpose:
Alloga, UK is seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Section Leader to assist in managing our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will maximize efficiency and personnel management to achieve excellent results that meet the requirements of Alloga, UK, our clients, and governing bodies. You will also deputize for a Supervisor during their absence.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure operatives use only the correct equipment they have been trained on.
Report any damage or defects of on-site equipment or property to the responsible person.
Secure all access points and challenge unauthorized personnel.
Monitor staff appearance to ensure compliance with uniform policies.
Maintain compliance with MHRA and GDP standards, ensuring excellent housekeeping.
Uphold cold-chain disciplines at all times.
Train staff to maximize efficiency and ensure training SOPs are recorded.
Promote continuous improvement across all operations.
Document errors and provide feedback for corrective actions.
Communicate effectively with the operations team and other departments.
Lead and motivate team members to perform at their best.
Deliver regular briefings to all staff.
Adjust resources to meet all targets.
Conduct random process audits as required.
Address order changes and consignment concerns.
Meet both business and departmental KPIs.
Adhere to 5S procedures.
Ensure compliance with Company Health & Safety policies.
Report all accidents and near misses to the HS&E Manager.
Perform departmental activities according to company procedures.

Competencies:
Previous warehouse experience.
Strong leadership skills.
Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems.
Proficient in Microsoft products.
Excellent communication skills.
Confident in addressing and correcting poor performance.

Education, Knowledge and Experience Required:
Previous warehouse experience.
Understanding of company policies and procedures.
Experience operating an RDT.
Knowledge of GDP and Health and Safety regulations.
Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft products.
Preferred NVQ Level or equivalent.
Completion of relevant SOP training within 3 months.
