AWS Cloud Engineer

Overall Responsibilities:

Skills & Experience:

• • Hands-on experience with AWS
  • Strong understanding of cloud services and architectures, including compute, storage, networking, and security
  • Experience with large-scale infrastructure hosting environments
  • Solid knowledge of:
    • Application hosting and distributed systems
    • Networking concepts (VPNs, TCP/IP, firewalls, routing, DNS)
    • Security technologies (authentication, authorization, PKI, encryption)
  • Clear understanding of how infrastructure components work together to provide reliable and secure environments
  • Familiarity with IT security best practices, threat protection, and compliance requirements
  • Ability to assess trade-offs in connected or embedded systems, including protocols and integration considerations
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively

Qualification:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• Professional certification in cloud computing, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead technical teams and mentor junior team members
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
