Manages and coordinates the care of patients participating in a clinical research study with guidance from preceptor, educator and/or administrator; educates patients, families and staff regarding study compliance; collects a complete and accurate study data set and facilitates accrual to clinical research studies. The salary range for this position is $77,264 - $95,529 annually which includes a geographic differential and comprehensive benefits package. The listed pay range reflects the range of potential compensation for this role. The actual offer may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience.Qualifications:
Required Education and ExperienceCertification Requirement
1. Current certification by the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP); or
2. Current certification by the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA); or
3. Other comparable research-related certifications recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as appropriate for this title.
Education and Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time clinical research, healthcare or other related experience; or
2. Associate’s degree and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time clinical research, healthcare or other related experience, including successful completion of a Clinical Research Coordinator traineeship at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center (Roswell Park); or
3. Associate’s degree and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time clinical research, healthcare or other related experience; or
4. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and four (4) years of full-time clinical research, healthcare or other related experience, including successful completion of a Clinical Research Coordinator traineeship at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center (Roswell Park); or
5. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and five (5) years of full-time clinical research, healthcare or other related experience.
NOTE:
1. Incumbents must obtain and maintain certification through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) or the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA) or from other comparable research-related certifications recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as appropriate for this title within five (5) years of appointment as a condition of continued employment.
2. Degrees must be conferred by an accredited school, college, or university, or by an institution recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and/or Health Research Incorporated as adhering to acceptable educational standards.
Preferred Qualificaitons:
The preferred candidate will have:
Previous Clinical Research Experience @Academic Medical Center
Previous Clinical Oncology experience
Certification by either ACRP or SoCRA
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Medical Field
Experience with FDA regulations and GCP/ICH guidance
Citi Course training completed
Previous experience with Serious Adverse Event and UP reporting
