Job description
This role supports the Technology Risk Management (TRM) organization by performing technology risk assessments, with a focus on IT infrastructure risk assessments across on-prem and cloud environments. The Analyst is required to understand compensating controls and apply appropriate frameworks to identify the residual risk while performing risk assessments. This is a hands‑on, execution‑focused role requiring strong ownership, sound judgment, and the ability to clearly understand and articulate technology risk.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform technology risk assessments, with a focus on IT infrastructure risk assessments across on-prem and cloud environments
- Perform reliability assessments for Visa applications / infrastructure and identify associated risks
- Provide the first level of review of exceptions to ensure sufficient information is included in requests
- Identify and communicate risks through the governance process
- Attend and provide information on risk assessment at governance and leadership meetings
- Perform basic training of GenAI models for the purpose of facilitating automation
- Develop and / or support delivery of risk reporting to management and governance committees. Coordinate and develop responses to regulatory inquiries/requests.
- Collaborate with other teams involved in the process (e.g., Cybersecurity, Operations & Infrastructure, Corporate IT, etc.)
- 3+ years of relevant experience Ability to work independently with minimum oversight.
- Self–starter and a team player interested in joining and maintaining a collegial work environment
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and availability (e.g., incident and change management, capacity management, disaster recovery)
- Preferable experience of performing IT Infrastructure security assessments and Reliability assessments
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity (e.g., access management, data security, etc.) and business continuity risks and controls
- Strong ability to prioritize deliverables and projects to meet timelines efficiently, to adapt to changes in priorities quickly
- Possess solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Communicate effectively, formally, and informally, to senior management and governance committees
