THE JOURNEY
Act as the strategic guardian for Glovo’s AI and Automation agenda, helping to define and map out the path to achieving our vision of a tech-enabled future. You will bridge the gap between high-level business goals and the technical realities of our Data and Tech teams, reporting directly to the Director of Strategy.
Lead key deployment programs, where you will support senior stakeholders to crack diverse problems through the lens of automation. You won't just manage timelines; you will ensure we are deploying the right things in the right place.
Juggle pure strategy with tech implementation. While AI is your core focus, you will also retain a strong foot in general strategy to ensure versatility. You will be expected to jump into critical, non-tech strategic projects - such as due diligence, new vertical launches, or operational efficiency drives - applying the same rigor and structured thinking.
Build our AI market intelligence. You will analyze the rapidly shifting landscape of AI and tech, predicting industry activity and its implications for Glovo. You will ensure we stay ahead of the curve on tools that can drive productivity across the organization.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE
Highly strategic and a structured thinker. You know how to break down complex, abstract problems (whether business or technical) into logical components to solve them at their root.
The "unicorn" background: you bring a unique blend of strategy and execution. Ideally, you have 1–3 years of experience in top-tier management consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy combined with hands-on experience in a tech start-up or Program Management role (or vice versa).
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driven by results: you are joining a fast-paced industry where the "playbook" for AI is still being written. You are comfortable taking ambiguous directives and turning them into real, implementable deployment plans at pace.
Tech-literate with a business soul: you don’t need to be a coder, but you must speak the language of Data and Engineering. You understand the capabilities and limitations of AI/LLMs and can translate technical concepts into business impact for senior leadership.
An owner with an entrepreneurial mindset: you own your work, your results, and everything in between. You know how to roll up your sleeves - whether that means creating a deck to convince senior management about the strategic direction to move towards or testing a new AI tool yourself.
Demonstrated experience in leading the structuring and solving of complex problems: you can define the scope of a problem, execute high-quality quantitative analysis, and develop key insights that drive decision-making.
A track record of delivering practical recommendations: you focus on shipping and deploying rather than just theorizing. You have experience moving projects from the "idea phase" to "live implementation."
You can prioritise effectively as well as lead multiple project workstreams concurrently - balancing long-term AI transformations with urgent strategic sprints.
Ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders: you can build trust with everyone from the Data Director to the Head of Strategy, effectively integrating their inputs and managing expectations on what automation can (and cannot) do.
You have strong communication skills and are able to articulate complex concepts in a simple and structured way (both written and orally).
