Playwright Automation Tester

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Playwright.
• Write and execute end-to-end automated test scripts for web applications.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Perform defect analysis, troubleshoot test failures, and support developers in issue resolution.
• Document test strategies, scenarios, and outcomes.
• Continuously improve test coverage, efficiency, and reliability.
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and agile ceremonies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in software test automation.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Proficiency with version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and containerized test execution (e.g., Docker).
• Experience with API testing and tools like Postman or REST Assured.
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber or SpecFlow.
• Exposure to test reporting tools such as Allure or Extent Reports.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC.
• ISTQB or equivalent testing certifications (preferred).
