Job description
- Implement the management system and ISO/IEC 17025;
- Accept and conduct all testing assignments, issue testing results and ensure result accuracy;
- Carry out tests according to international standards/client specific method;
- Troubleshoot problems that arise during testing, seeking help from the manager if necessary;
- Involve in testing capability development under supervision of Manager;
- Involve in test method validation
- Complete the PT/ILC samples on time without any outliers
- Maintaining the MSL of Consumables, Glassware’s, Chemicals
- Training the Junior Technician, Maintain and monitor the TAT
- Assist Technical manager for identifying risk in Textile lab.
- Implementing the Corrective action in technical NCs
- Monitoring all lab records, Verifying the Data sheets
- Maintain the operation of each testing team;
- Involved in the selection and acceptance of new instruments and equipment, as well
- organize/conduct the acceptance of consumables.
- Involved in operation, maintenance, calibration / verification, performance check, and/or intermediate check of equipment in textile testing lab
- Finish other tasks assigned by Manager
Job qualification requirement
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering, or Diploma in Textiles.
Training: Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 requirements; Textile Testing training preferred.
Technical Knowledge: Familiar with textile standards; able to conduct tests on Physical properties, Dimensional Stability, and Colour Fastness.
Experience: 2–3 years in a textile testing laboratory; experience with Accreditation Body Audits is a plus.
Skills: Strong communication, accurate typing, and general computer proficiency.
Language: Fluent in written and spoken English.
