About the opportunity
This permanent role provides quality, safe, person-centred physiotherapy clinical care to the allocated caseload in our Hospital in the Home (acute and sub-acute) service with flexibility to assist in GEM/Inpatient Rehab Unit and other areas as required. This position facilitates a holistic and multidisciplinary team approach.
Grade 2, permanent part-time (0.4 EFT) Physiotherapist commencing 20/4/2026.
Based in the friendly and supportive physiotherapy team at Werribee Mercy Hospital.
This role provides quality, evidence based, flexible, person-centred physiotherapy clinical care in the designated caseload.
Provides supervision and support to Grade 1 Physiotherapists, AHAs and Physiotherapy students.
Assists with weekend / public holiday shifts as required.

To thrive in this role, you will have:
AHPRA-recognised degree in Physiotherapy, full and unlimited AHPRA physiotherapy registration and current Victorian (or equivalent) full Drivers Licence.
Ideally 2 years minimum, broad and relevant clinical physiotherapy experience in a hospital setting including acute and sub-acute care and care in the home and including supervision of Grade 1 physiotherapists, AHAs and physiotherapy students.
Willingness to participate in weekend / public holiday shifts as required.
Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, commitment to person-centred care, ability to adapt and learn quickly, and work flexibly within a team.
A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.
Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise competing tasks in a timely manner within a complex work setting.
The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Enthusiastic, dedicated, team-oriented, flexible, adaptable and friendly, with a philosophy of continual improvement and evidence-based practice.
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
Victorian (or equivalent) full Drivers Licence.
Full and unlimited AHPRA physiotherapy registration.
Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
